Vehicle Detail
This is a 1969 Mustang Mach 1, 428 Super Cobra Jet, 4 Speed Toploader, 4:30 gears car. Right now it has 29k miles on it and has never been restored. I have the original build sheet, Marti report, and all of my receipts for it. This car runs great, has a clean title, and would make an excellent driver or car for a total restoration. It has a small rust spot on the passenger side door and very minor surface rust underneath. It was repainted at some point in the 80's I think, but still looks very good. The interior is all original as well. It has the correct date coded 428 Cobra Jet engine block in it with all the correct Super Cobra Jet internals. It was rebuilt and balanced less than 1k miles ago along with a fresh and correct Toploader. While the engine was out the engine bay was cleaned and repainted. It currently has 3:89 gears in it, but I have the original 4:30 gears for it and the original spear tire too. It has a 428 PI intake, Holly carb, Pertronix distributor/coil, and after market fan. I do not have correct parts to replace those. Car will be SOLD AS IS. A little history on it. When I bought it from the second owner I was told that the original owner bought it strictly for drag racing on the weekends. It only had a little over 19k when I bought it. I never researched to see who the original owner was, but if you do you may find an interesting race history. Wouldn't that be a bonus! Please e-mail me for any questions regarding the car. Here is a video and additional pictures of it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPoutD187oohttp://imgur.com/a/zk3Dd#0 Winning bidder must make a nonrefundable deposit of $2000.00 to my Paypal account within 24 hours of winning the auction. The balance due in 7 days by cashiers check. Winning bidder must be able to pick the car up or arrange to have it shipped after payment.
