Here is a great opportunity to purchase a low mileage CLK at a bargain price. I left this car at a repair shop over a year ago as the convertible top was inoperable, after many delays and misdiagnosis, the shop owner then developed serious medical problems and the car remained untouched. The car was in excellent shape mechanically prior to this episode, but now will probably require a fuel pump and filter due to the length of time the gas has been sitting in the tank, the top is not operating....last diagnosis was a leaking pump. Cosmetically the car needs some TLC, areas of the hood and fender have oxidized paint, inside is pretty average for the year, the top is still in excellent condition and the matching tires have around 50% wear. I don't have the time, patience or more importantly the money to deal with this anymore, somebody will and they'll have a really nice car at the end of the day. The car will only start with starter fluid at the air intake, the fuel in the tank will have to be drained and lines cleared in order for it to run, it may need a fuel pump.......Total cost to do this including fuel pump would be around $400. I also have a local auto shipping company that can ship the vehicle at very reasonable rates.
