You may NEVER see another car like this again. This is a fantastic, wonderful car. Original mileage, I bought it with 36,000 miles on her. It has been cared for better that my kids! Any parts that have been replaced are Toyota, everything else is ORIGINAL! NO RUST! the paint is in beautiful shape, it shines so nicely in the sun. ALL ORIGINAL. There is the one spot of clear coat that is peeling on the driver door, I have a picture of it, no place else on the car. Sorry, I could not get the hatchback pictures to rotate, I want you to see that there is no rust anywhere, you can also see the luggage compartment too in those pictures. Did you see the picture of the spare tire compartment area? It really does look brand new, that is original WOOD around that tire. All of the "hidden" areas look nice and clean like that. I have tried to keep up with the age related problems that might come along. I have replaced all the hoses, belts, wires, timing belt, tires. I have even kept most of those old parts. I keep the seats covered from the sun and even the steering wheel still looks great. I also just spent $150 on those plastic trim pieces that go under the headlights, they have been cracking for years but I didn't want to pay that much for those stupid things, but... I had to, I have not taken new pictures with those installed,so you will see some old pictures with the old trim. The interior is maybe in the best shape of any part of the car, the carpet, headliner, dash, seats show almost no wear at all, truely amazing. Only thing that does not work is the air conditioning. It works but won't hold a charge. It has the old freon, and I spent over $500 this year trying to track down the leak, I finally ran out of money to spend on it, but my mechanic says he has narrowed it down to O rings in the compressor. But, EVERYTHING else works! Amazing. Even the power antenna, the equalizer, all the power windows, everything! I don't have pictures of the underside. It is just as perfect as the paint. I promise, no rust or problems there. Why am I selling? This was a car I always wanted as a young married guy, and could not afford it until middle aged. Well, now I am past that and have grandkids to take care of and retirement to pay for. This car needs a collector to keep her in the same super shape and to really appreciate how absolutely beautiful she is! In a different economy this car would go for $11,000+ but I will start the bidding at $9000 and see what happens. You could take this car and drive it across the country if you needed to, it is ready. You can also see how it is covered for the winter, it has a chamois cover first and then a waterproof exterior put over that. Please email me with questions. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS.
