This rare sporty Lancer GT coupe is ready for a complete restoration! This Lancer GT has bucket seats, automatic transmission, AM radio, Lancer GT fender emblems and stainless moldings, and the padded Lancer GT dash. It is a very straight car that was originally light tan with the rose/tan interior. The body appears to be rust free, except for the front floors which have the usual rust through. New replacement floor panels have been reproduced for the 61-62 Lancers. I can not find any other rust through on the car, including the frame rails, the inner fenders, and the rockers. This car is virtually complete as shown in the photos, but it will need a total restoration... or it could provide those hard to find parts for your Lancer GT restoration. Note that like most Lancer GTs, this car no longer has the plastic hood and trunk GT emblems. It has the slant six motor, which has not been started or the car driven in many years, and would need to be rebuilt... or replaced with your motor. Actual mileage is unknown. The Lancer will roll and steer for transport. I have clear title in my name. If you have questions, please ask before bidding. I am relisting this car due to a non-paying bidder who did not reply to emails or inspect the car. A bid is a contract to purchase the Lancer GT. The Lancer GT is being sold as is, where is, and the buyer is responsible for making any transport arrangements. I am available to coordinate with the transport company or for you to pick up the vehicle. A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction, with the balance due within 7 days of the end of the auction via cash or bank cashiers check, all in US funds. I will transfer title for the vehicle and release it for transport once funds have cleared.
