Up for sale is my 1997 Suzuki RM 250 motocross dirtbike. It’s clean, runs and rides great and is in excellent overall condition. Adult owned (I'm 38), ridden responsibly and I always keep up with regular maintenance on all of my bikes. I change the oil and clean & oil the air filter after every 2nd ride. I also just cleaned the carb and installed a new spark plug. The bike also has excellent suspension and brakes, good plastics and nice decals. This bike needs nothing. Just hop on and ride. It always starts on the first or second kick. Plenty of compression and all the power that a 250cc 2-stroke should have. There is no title, but a printed and signed bill of sale will be provided upon completion of the sale. Upgrades & Features: FMF Fatty Pipe New FMF Powercore2 Silencer (2 hours on it) Jetted properly for the pipe (168/40) and comes with a few extra jets (175, 165, 45) New Gold chain & Renthal sprocket kit (2 hours on it) New dual stage air filter (2 hours on it) Brand new “Warp-Nine” rear wheel, OEM spokes, brand new tire, tube, rim lock & rim band. And I mean “brand new”. Zero hours/miles on the new tire and wheel. Wheel was trued and balanced before the tire was put on and it spins perfectly. Another nice feature of the RMs from this era is that you can adjust the power valve to your liking. You can make it so it’s smooth into the power band or so that it kicks in hard. Also, if you need it delivered after you buy it, I have a full size truck and will deliver it for free within 15 miles or for a fee of $.50/mile up to 200 miles. Otherwise, the buyer is responsible for picking up the bike from my home in West Milford, New Jersey or having it shipped. The buy it now price is very fair considering the condition of the bike and all of the upgrades. A $400 deposit through Paypal is required within 24 hours after the auction ends. The balance is to be paid in cash when you pick up the bike. I will not load and deliver the bike until full payment has been made.
