1996 Honda Gold Wing

Up for auction is a great low mileage '96 1500 SE Goldwing that runs great. This Goldwing has cruise control, saddle bags, rear cargo box, hook ups for heated riding gear, and AM/FM cassette. It is a very nice dark green color and there are just a few scratches, consistent with being 15 years old but it's great looking regardless! It comes with everything pictured and a small Goldwing tool kit. I got this bike this year from a family member and it did not run due to old gas gumming up. I fixed it, I rode it around, and I decided to sell it, I like sport bikes I guess. I have the clear title in hand and it's paid in full. Ask questions about the bike and I will get you an answer. The good: The bike has never been down or in an accident. Clear title in hand. The tires are in excellent shape and have plenty of tread, the battery is brand new and comes with a *transferable warranty from Autozone Auto Parts (if it dies they will replace it *=see Autozone.com for the exact warranty info), the oil has just been changed, and it's ready to ride. The following parts were just replaced to get the bike back on the road: Fuel Pump, Fuel Vacuum Pet Cock, Fuel Filter, Battery. The carb was cleaned as well to get it running. The bad:The windscreen has some scratches and hazing not visible in pictures. I can't find the rear seat handles at the moment but they may pop up before the end of the auction, you can pick up a nice set on ebay for less than $50. As mentioned there a couple scratches. There is a small plastic grille pictured on the left side of the cockpit that is broken away, it was just decoration anyway (see the picture of it). There is some rust pitting on both chrome side bars. You can easily replace these with some off ebay from a west coast bike or just have them re-chromed, not a big deal. I will not arrange shipping or crate the bike for shipping, sorry. But I will work with your shipper if they will come pick it up and will just roll it onto a truck. You are welcome to come pick it up of course. Payment needs to be in the form of a certified bank check or cash in person. With either type of payment, at the end of the auction a $500 paypal deposit is required. The motorcycle is being sold as is, there is no warranty implied or expressed.
