Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a first generation red 1973 Oldmobile Omega with a black vinyl top. This is a 2 door with hatchback edition. Original paint, all original solid body with just a few rust spots that can be seen in the pictures. This vehicle still has the original engine which is Oldsmobile's 5.7L (350 cid) "Rocket" V8, with the optional 3 speed automatic. This is also one of the few models made that has the 4-barrel rochester carburetor. The Omega was one of 2 more x-body Chevrolet Nova clones introduced in 1973. It shares the Nova's body and many of its mechanicals, but has its own unique nose and tail and has fancier trim than a Nova. The front grill sports Oldsmobiles trademark split waterfall grille design, round headlights set into square rcesses, and parking lights directly below in the bumper. Body style mirrors that of the Nova. So many of the Nova parts from this time will fit the Omega. The interior, has the original dashboard and original seats. The front seat does have a long tear in it but could be rehopolstered. The carpeting has been replaced with a black carpet. The inside roof needs recovered. The original manuels are still in the glove compartment. Undeside is clean, no dents on vehicle, and very minimal rust which is shown in the pictures. The engine is currently removed and does need rebuilt. It also needs a new heater core. The body is solid and this could be an awesome car with the right person since it has not had any modifications to it.
