Up for sale is a mostly original matching #'s 1979 Triumph 750 Bonneville with a title and 12,022 original miles. The bike was alway's kept garaged. I bought it from the original owner who kept great care of it. The bike does run and will start and has good compression, no electric start and the battery is very old and will not hold a charge anymore, so a new one will be necessary. It seems the kill switch was moved to the right fork ear on a toggle switch. the key switch is functional for everyting else. also the seat pan is rusting, has tears on the seams. The left handle bar switch has the hi/lo light switch broken in the hi position also the brakes will need a thorough cleaning master cylinders and calipers. Other than those details the bike is clean and very presentable, all the lights work. There is no dents in the gas tank and the inside is clean. It was repainted at one time but is a retro metallic flake that is tasteful. The side covers are in good shape, just some common scratches. The exhaust are in great shape and shine great with just some rust behind the headers, and the left side header has a small ding in it near the top. The wheels have some pitting but are in good shape, the tires are in great shape and hold air fine. the bike has a new accel ignition system put in it. So all in all this bike is in great shape and just need minor attention, and a nice exaple of a 750 bonneville. I require the bike to be paid for in full and out within 7 days.
