Reason for selling:I now work outside of the country and no longer need this car. I am not advertising this car as "immaculate condition" because it simply is not. That being said, this is a great car in good condition and could make for a great deal for whomever purchases it from me. The Kelly Blue Book value for this car is $7200 is for the worst case scenario. I have placed the reserve much lower than that as I need to sell this car urgently. Feel free to purchase your own Carfax report on this car in order to confirm that the one I have linked to is accurate. Condition:Mechanically this Acura is in great condition. The engine and transmission feel superb and have never had any problems or required any non-regular service. Good acceleration is present and passing power is more than ample. The transmission feels snappy, especially for a 11 year old car. A "knuckle" was replaced in the front suspension under warranty by an Acura dealer; no other suspension problems have ever occurred. The car has always been parked in a roofed garage for as long as I have owned it. Cosmetically, signs of wear can be found on the interior and exterior. There are minor nicks and small scratches on the body; many of which can be easily buffed out or repaired. The paint still looks very sharp, the pearl color is extremely nice. The interior is in good condition with a few exceptions. For example, the leather on the driver's and passenger's do not look brand new and neither do the carpets(carpets can be replaced easily and cheaply). But for its age, the interior is in good shape. The wheels have some minor scuffs; only on one of the four wheels is it is immediately obvious. Also, there is a minor blemish/scuff in the lower passenger side of the front bumper(see photo). Please note that the car has been in two accidents. One was a very minor fender bender on the front bumper; it was repaired easily. Bluntly speaking, the 2nd accident was not so minor; however it was mostly cosmetic damage and it was repaired very well (the car hit a tree on the rear-passenger side after swerving off the road to avoid an accident). The tires have been replaced at Sears when the car had 66000 miles on it (the car currently has 92000 miles); the cost was $700. These Michelin tires on the car now are even higher grade than the ones that originally came with the car from the factory; they are good for 60,000 miles and are under warranty from Sears(invoice will be given to the winner of this auction). The are very quiet and make for a great ride. For the last 8 months I have not been driving this car. During this period, it has been used lightly about once a week by a family member just to keep it maintained. All keys and manuals are available. History:This car was originally leased by an elderly woman and driven for 15k miles in 2.5 years. Then it was purchased by a family friend who owned it for another 3 years before it was purchased by me in 2006. When I purchased the car it had an extended warranty which expired in Dec of 2007. Under my ownership, it has always been served more than regularly at an Acura dealer ONLY. I have collected nearly every single invoice from any service that the car had under my possession; all of which are available with me and will be given to whomever wins this auction. Very few things have needed to be replaced on the car from defects or wear, mostly electronics. This includes the electronic anti-theft key system computer, an oxygen sensor, and a couple of ABS speed sensors on the wheels(there may be a few others I can't remember). All of these replacements were done at the Acura dealer(all service invoices for the replacements are available). Also, a new battery was purchased about 2 weeks ago from Autozone, it comes with a one year warranty. Features:The ride quality is top notch and it feels stable and planted on the road. It has classic, handsome sedan looks with a luxurious interior trimmed with wood and leather. The BOSE sound system is satisfying and it there are many premium luxury features to be found. Some of my favorite features include:Automatic HID xenon headlamps(these are factory installed), Speed sensing windshield wipers.
