Hello and thanks for viewing this NO RESERVE auction. I am a small, licensed, bonded, and insured dealer, located approx. 35 minutes West of Baton Rouge, La. Please read the ad in full before bidding or asking questions. Then, after reading the ad, if you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me and I will be glad to answer them. This is a 1996 Toyota T-100 extended cab truck. It is equipped with a V6 engine and manual 5 speed transmission. The truck runs great. It only has 126k miles. The only flaw in driving it is that the shift will jump out of first gear back into neutral unless you hold it in first. With the slightest pressure, it will stay in first. The other gears are fine. Please note this. you can take off in first gear, but you have to hold a little pressure on the shift. The clutch is fine. The truck does not run hot, tap, smoke, etc. Get in and go. The exterior is in good shape with no dents, but has been repainted. There is a run here or there in the paint. I don't know why it has been repainted, before you ask. The tires are in decent shape with about 50% tread remaining. The windshield has a crack as pictured. The truck has an under bumper hitch and sliding rear window. The interior is in good shape. There are no tears in the seats, but some spots on the carpet as pictured. The A/C blows cold. All guages work properly except the RPM guage is not . There you have it. I have tried to describe the truck as accurately as possible. It is a great running little truck, but not a show truck. On Nov-17-11 at 08:57:56 PST, seller added the following information:I have talked to a couple of mechanics, and it appears to be a simple fix to the 1st gear problem. It seems Toyotas commonly break a small ring under the shift that causes it to not go all the way into first gear. About a $20 part.
