Selling my everyday 1985 Mercedes 300TD Wagon. The vehicle runs well and looks good. It has 158,000 original miles on it. I am the second owner of this car. The first owner was a man in his eighties who bought this beauty right off the showroom floor.Has just had all the glow plugs changed. At that time he paid for upgrades and purchased a beautiful set of custom hubcaps for it. He drove it for a couple of years until he was too sick to drive. It sat in his garage on blocks for a number of years until I bought it 2001. The paint and body were in amazing condition. It's been a wonderful car that I only drove around town and to bring my kids to local school. A couple of years ago an elderly man made a right turn in front of me and totaled his car. The officer said that my car was so heavy and better made than these new cars of today. That's why I had such little damage. My beauty had some right front panel problems and my insurance company felt that it was to old to fix so they salvaged it. My husband went to the demo yard and found a right front panel to the same Mercedes that matched the paint exactly of my car. I had my mechanic check it over and said that the engine and frame were fine and safe to drive no problem. So I have drove it that way for the last couple of years with the kids. This is my 1985 Mercedes Wagon 300td with blue exterior and blue interior. The body/paint are in great condition with few dents and dings. The paint shines up nice, looks beautiful and my husband has keep it waxed. Tires are in good condition and have plenty of tread. There is no abnormal wearing. The car drives straight and true. The interior is in great condition. The dash has some cracks, but it has an almost new looking dash cover in the same color and fabric of the interior of the car. The odometer works. The clock works and keeps perfect time. All the following work as they should: Turn signals, wipers, horn, power windows, manual sunroof, and locks all work and the rear hatch works with the key. There is a third seat in the rear that works fine and that can be laid down for more storage. The car does have a roof rack which can be adjusted. The transmission was rebuilt at a 120,000 and is working fine.
