1946 Mercury Woody wagon, this is a running driving car, it is ready to cruise down the highway, on country roads or take a ride to the beach. Only 2797 of these cars were built! How many remain in service today? This woody is just like what we would buy when I was in High School to take to the beach on our surf trips, the only difference is they cost a bit more today. This wagon has a flathead V8 engine and a three speed manual transmission. The car also has the highly desirable two speed Columbia rearend which I think makes it two speeds in each gear. The linkage to activate the rearend is not hooked up. There is no spare tire or spare tire mount. The car as far as I can see is pretty complete. There is no radio but it has a radio delete plate. This car is not a show car but it turns heads whenever it is on the road or in a parking lot. Drive it and fix it up at your leisure. There are no back seats for the car, it only has the driver bench seat. This car is for sale as is complete with grease, there is no warranty. You are welcome to come and see the car and drive it.
