1958 Chevrolet Apache 3200 LONGBED pickup truck with the BIG BACK WINDOW originally from Tuscon, Arizona. I have the original title from Arizona. The truck has been registered in Tennessee. The mileage is more than odometer shows. This truck is a daily driver, all original 235 inline 6 cylinder with the original 4-speed manual transmission in the floor. All fluids have been changed with new plugs, plug wires, points, distributor cap, fuel pump, ALL hoses, and air filter, although I have the original oil bath filter. I drive it all over town, although it was never designed to keep up with today's interstate speeds, it performs very well considering its age. The exterior has been decently repainted in white a couple of years ago by the previous owner (original color was Honey Beige). The interior is original, and has not been modified except for the seat cover and a few small items such as a rear-view mirror, and transmission shifter boot, sound deadener rubber mat, and ignition key indicator bezel. Original radio delete plate, steering wheel, shifter knob, dash knobs, all lights and turn signals work, interior light, wipers work, heater works, and gauges intact and most work (new speedometer cable). Original brake system works great, including parking brake. Radio dash opening has been beautifully restored to its original shape ( victim of a 70's radio cut), and is primered but needs dash paint. All window glass is original and intact, two small bb dings in windshield ( give it character), original window rubber (don't have to replace), and cab had an original spotlight installed (probably from original dealer) in the roof of cab which I removed but kept all parts to reinstall it. Hood hinges need adjusting to align hood downward. All emblems are original and their chrome is original and beautiful. The bed has a few holes in the original wood floor. Bed shows minimal honest wear and has original tailgate. New shocks. Heavy original step bumper with hitch, and license plate light works as does original taillight lenses. There has been some body work done on the bed prior to paint but it was done well.There is VERY little rust, cab is SOLID, only rust is a small area on the bottom passenger side cab corner and on bottom of door. New exhaust system, and original wheels have been sandblasted and powder coated white. Tires are new and meet original specs. I had been searching for a vintage longbed Taskforce series Chevrolet pickup with a big back window (very hard to find in original condition). I love this truck and it would make a beautiful complete restoration or enjoy it as it has been for the past 54 years! Thanks for bidding and good luck!
