1988 Honda Shadow

Up for auction is my 1988 Honda Shadow with 23,450 miles, Liquid cooled V-twin, She runs great and has a new battery, oil change, carb and filter cleaned, Valves adjusted. It's been ridden most the summer and now when its warm enough out. She starts right up first try everytime and has been a very reliable machine. Its an 88' but the Shadow 600 has been unchanged and this is essentially the same bike as the 2008 model. It has rear setup like a Harley softail with no rear shocks visible, from the factory. It has good grunt for a 600. Mechanically the bike is great. Brakes, Lights, charging system is all great. Aesthetically the bike has some paint chips here and there and minor surface rust here and there with some minor scratches on the muffler cover, The fenders are both custom Shorter rear cut and v shaped looks awesome front fender is custom The tank looks good but does have a few chips. It has a sidemount license plate and brake light, custom directionals.. There no rear footpegs but the mounts are there and the pegs can be put on if you wish, I dont have them but they can be found cheap on ebay. It also has a make shift solo seat it does the job and is comfortable just has tape on the upholstery. Its another thing that can be found on ebay for cheap. The front tire does show some dry cracks, I've been riding on it but would be best to replace sooner rather than later especially if doing highway riding. The rear tire has decent life left. The bike is registered in my name and will be selling with a bill of sale and the registration which is all you'll need anyy state, because RI doesnt title vehicles over 10 years old. The bikes an 88' and is sold as-is.
