Up for bid is this 1966 Chrysler 300 Convertible barn find. This car was found after being parked inside a barn since 1997. After changeing points, plugs and plug wires and putting in a charged battery she fired right up. It is a 383 c.i. big block and a 727 automatic. The body is in very good condition for a car this old. It does have some rust on the bottom of the quarters but could be easily fixed. I am sure this car would not take much to bring it back to a really cool driver. It looks like it is complete . The trunk floor is very solid and so are all floor pans. It is a power top that works nicely. The plastic back window is gone and the top is a little dry rotted. The seats are leather and would need to be recovered. Door panels are nice and so is dash pad. All of the glass is good, and all power windows go up and down. The usual things for a car setting up for so long would need to be done before driving on the road. Belts, hoses, fluids and brakes. The brakes work in the back yard but seem to be wanting to lock up. probably from non-use. It also has a tilt-telescopic wheel with power steering. The heater blows and the a/c blows but would need to be gone though. It has a clear Florida title. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of auction close through Pay-Pal. The balance to be paid in cash at pick up. I am willing to store for up to 30 days and will help load car at pick up.
