Up for bid is a 1968 Volkswagon Beetle. I am listing this vehicle for an elderly neighbor. The beetle is in very good condition from what I can tell. I viewed the under carriage of the beetle and everything look very solid and clean. No rust or holes at all. The beetle has a cool looking luggage rack that can be easily removed. All of the glass is good in the beetle. The tires are like brand new white wall tires. The odometer reads 57,041 miles. I was told that was the original mileage. The beetle has a automatic transmission. The volkswagon has the factory am Radio in it. If you are interested in the vehicle, make an offer. Please no tire kickers this lady needs the vehicle sold and out of her way. She is unable to use it anymore. Exterior: The exterior paint is a torquios blueish green color and the wheels are painted to match. It has a luggage rack on top. All of the metal and wood on the rack is in good condition. The passenger side rear fender has a small dent in it as you can see in the pictures. The paint is in pretty good shape. Shipping: The buyer is responsible for pickup. The car can be delivered for $2.00 per mile round trip up to 250 miles. Funds must be paid up front prior to delivery. Interior: The front and rear seats are in good shape with no rips or tears as you can see in the pictures. The carpet is new. The door panels are in good condition as you can see. The beetle also has new weather stripping. ALL of the glass is in good condition and all components work properly. Drive Train: The beetle has a 1600 cc Dual Port engine that purrs like a kitten. The beetle has new brakes, brake lines, and tie rod ends. The beetle also has a new ignition switch The beetle has a new carb. The beetle has a new battery. Inspection: The beetle has a new inspection sticker on it. Payment: A $250.00 NON- REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 48 hours after the auction has ended unless other arrangements are made. Shipping: The buyer is responsible for pick-up of the vehicle, however the vehicle can be delivered for $2.00 per mile round trip up to 250 miles. The vehicle can only be delivered on the weekend.
