Vehicle Detail

1941 Ford Rat Rod Pickup Project This chopped '41 Ford Rat will be the baddest pickup at any rat show when finished. I had one similar to it last year that was built by Troy Wascher of "Damaged Goods Customs", Bay City MI, and it was the biggest hit everywhere I took it! I have all of the body parts to build it (chopped '41 cab, '39 coupe front clip, bed with Ford script tailgate, rear '39 fenders, running boards). The body and front clip is just mocked up and sitting on the frame to see how it will fit. It is NOT mounted to the frame. I haven't made any mounting brackets yet. Will need the floor made to fit the frame. The top has been chopped a good 4". Needs welds filled in. I have the tops of the doors that need to be welded in. I have door bottom patch panels set in place, need welding. The front clip is from a '39 Ford coupe. Will fit like my other rat did and looks cool as hell! Has both hood sides. I have both chrome headlight rings with teardrop glass lenses in great shape. The custom frame is from an '89 S10. The S10 was a running truck with a small block 350 and 350TH trans, so the engine and transmission mounts are still there. NO ENGINE OR TRANS NOW. There is a full stainless exhaust system with Flowmasters and nice chrome tips still installed. It has a front and rear full air bag suspension system. It will lay the frame almost on the ground. I have a 12V compressor and tank (not the tank in the pictures). Solenoids are plumbed in the air lines. The air bags are deflated right now so I could see how low I should mount the body on the frame. I have the steering column with keys. The power brakes and power steering are still hooked up. The bed would need to be narrowed 6" to fit between the rear tires unless you want the tires to fit 3" inside each side of the bed. Either way would look good. I have the Ford script tailgate. (the bed is not mounted on the little trailer in the picture. I just set it on there to be able to move it around). I have 3 sets of rear fenders that will go with the deal. The '39's are like the ones I used on my other rat rod. The middle ones are '41 and the blue ones came with the bed. I have a clean '41 title for the truck. The first 7 pictures show the pickup project as it sits right now. The last 2 pictures show the one I had last year so you can get an idea of what it would look like when finished. They're not exactly the same (the top chop is different), but you can see what the front and rear end would look like. The combination of the two years looks BADASS! Email me if you have any questions. revard34@yahoo.com This is a CASH ONLY! auction. No cashiers checks! Don't ask! There is a non-refundable $500 Paypal deposit required at the end of the auction. The rest in CASH when picked up. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.On Nov-06-11 at 15:03:59 PST, seller added the following information: The winning bid buys this truck. It doesn't give someone the right to just come and see if they want it.On Nov-07-11 at 05:48:13 PST, seller added the following information: The car trailer that the fenders are sitting on does NOT go with the sale of the '41, nor does the little trailer the bed is sitting on.
