1970 Renault R-16, Automatic transmission. Rusty condition. Was used as a winter snow car in New Hampshire where it performed its job admirably. Currently not running. Engine is tired, low compression and high oil consumption, and I suspect the ignition needs work. The transmission works well. Also needs brake work. Took the car in to have the right half-shaft replaced, and got it back with brake problems and it wouldn't start, 2 years ago. Rust in rocker panels and hood. Rest of the car needs cleaning. Interior needs cleaning. Front seats need re-covering and the front carpet needs to be replaced. The car comes with 4 additional doors, 3 with no rust, 1 with some rust. Also comes with additional rust free front left and right finders, and a spare back seat. Other spare parts include brake parts, original carburetor, a full set of new lights and lenses and other parts. It also includes manuals. I prefer to sell all together. Car and all the parts can be towed on a dolly. There are very few of these pioneering cars left. They are amazingly comfortable, roomy for a European car, get reasonable gas milage, but at a leisurely pace (she will get to 80, but is happier at 65). I have pictures of the spare parts, on request.
