This 1966 Mustang Convertible has been rebuilt to resemble a Hertz Shelby GT 350. The fact that's it's a convertible makes it almost one of a kind. Just like the Hertz Shelby's, it's black with gold stripes. The overall condition is very good ! The frame, floorpans, and chassis are all rust free! The exterior is dent free, with some minor paint cracks under the clearcoat on the trunk lid. The interior has new carpet and pony leather seats. The powered convertible top is in excellent condition, plus it's color matches the gold stripes. It has all the Shelby accessories including the dash mounted Tach. and Hertz alloy wheels. The powerplant is a 289/ 4 barrel with after market headers and a dual exhaust. There is a Paxton Supecharger in its box that goes with the sale. It has a 5 speed manual transmission, rack and pinnion steering, and front wheel disc brakes, To my knowledge everything is in good working order, it runs great, and it is very, very quick !! I purchased the car as is 3 years ago from a collector in North Carolina who said the car came from Denver, Colorado.
