Up for auction is a strong running F-450 utility truck with a great body on it. Optional equiptment: 7.3L power stroke turbo diesel 6 speed manual with overdrive 4.30 ratio limited slip axle 15,000# GVWR package Block heater Air conditioning Trans power take off provision Vinyl bench seat Total MSRP on the base truck brand new was $32,415. We are the original owners, too! Winning bidder will receive the complete service records from the truck. It was fleet maintained with regular services and maintenence and is excess due to the downturn in the economy so we are selling it as surplus. The box is from "Truck body corp" and cost us $11,635. The following are the specs on the box: 54" loadspace 60" high roof x 84" long Aluminum roll up door to gather at rear header area eliminating horizontal door tracks (1) Vented tank compartment at rear of body on streetside Bar locks at front for all compartments except vented tank compartment due to lock bar blocking the opening Full width lighted rear step bumber with receiver recessed into face and reinforced to chassis frame Roof mounted ladder racks Rear mounted trailer plug 2 Dome lights in ceiling with dash mounted switch Mounted and exterior painted Mounted sealed beam marker lights & standard reflectors Total cost of the truck & box: $44,050 OK, so onto the fine details. As you can see the truck has rust on the body. the drivers side rear compartment (the tank compartment) has the floor rusted through and is currently unusable. This is isolated however, the other boxes are in good shape. The truck is a strong runner and the transmission pops out of second gear ever now & then. Also the air conditioning doesnt work (probably just needs a charge). The engine is in great shape though! The 7.3L is the best ford ever made. Tires are also in good shape which are worth a good chunk of change alone! We have been using this truck up untill yesterday on the road so it has not been sitting and it is roadworthy for sure!
