Up for auction is this 1997 Ford F150 4x4 Lariat extended cab truck! This is a good running and solid truck but does need some work. Great truck for work! Mechanically the truck runs and drives good! The motor is strong and sounds good! The truck drives nice and tight on the local roads and major highways! The automatic transmission shifts good through all the gears! NOTE: The truck will need some exhaust work which sounds like it is coming from the exhaust manifold area. It is very common with these ford trucks. I am not sure if it is both manifolds or maybe just a few bolts, etc. but they will need to be repaired or replaced. It sounds to me like the majority of the exhaust leak is on the passenger side. You can hear it as soon as you start the truck. It does quiet up as it warms up, but you can hear it 100% when you are driving. The body is straight and solid! There are dings, some scrtaches and imperfections from normal driving use! Both sideview mirrors will need to be replaced. The paint is in average shape overall! The interior is in good shape but does show use and wear! The seats have some wear, the rug shows wear, and the front part of the headliner is starting to sag at the windshield area. The tires will need to be replaced. There is a spare rim on the left front. I do have the original rim but it has a crack on the inside of the rim. All the interior powers and options work great! NOTE: A/C is not blowing cold. All the interior and exterior lights and safety features work as they should! This is a good truck that will need some attention, but it is a strong running truck that would be great for a second truck or for work! There is NO RESERVE so please bid to own!
