1966 FORD F-100 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This classic is a must-see! The ‘66 body is in great condition and has been kept original in Wimbledon White. Recent exterior modifications include a custom bed cover that fits like a glove! New tires were mounted on new custom wheels and alignment done- all less than 2000 miles ago! Under the hood- approximately 36,500 miles on rebuilt 351 Cleveland that was snatched for this truck prior to being put into 1972 Mach 1 restoration. It was built with mild cam and 4-barrel carburetor. Runs strong and burns NO oil. The distributor’s standard points and condenser have been updated to electronic ignition. Also added were aluminum valve covers, K&N air cleaner, headers and dual exhaust for a classic rumble! The C-4 transmission also runs great and was rebuilt at time of motor install including B/M shift kit to handle torque of the 5.8L powerhouse. The air conditioner does work but requires the old Freon so belt has been removed. The brake system was completely redone about 30,000 miles ago with new lines, cylinders, drums, linings and wheel bearings. The interior has been upgraded with high back black velour bucket seats and center console- all made specifically to bolt into this cab. Original vinyl seat is available as well. Floor covering has been upgraded with carpet. Headliner and glass are in great condition. Since 1966- the 3 proud owners (which includes current) all lived in Nebraska during ownership- ironically less than 100 miles apart! Currently owned and babied the last 125,500 miles since 1985- primarily garage kept. Odometer works and currently reads 29,758 after rolling over twice. The truck is in very drivable condition. However, it will likely need a new driver’s side front cab mount, and the starter could be replaced as it occasionally kicks out when it’s warm. Otherwise- this classic is ready for the road or your collection!
