I have been fortunate to own my 1996 Rolls Royce Silver Spur. I bought the car because of the very special color combination, Bergondy Red Wine Exterior,(Red Pearl Mica), with Tan Interior,(Magnolia), with matching Red Wine Piping,(St.James Red), on the seats. I have never seen this color combination before or since I have owned this car. The color is very unique and the whole car is very original. I had no idea that this car would be so Dependable. It has always started quickly and the oil and water levels remain constant. If you look close at the pictures that I took you can see the very clean reflection from the excellent original paint condition. To think that this car is 16 years old is almost unblievable. The interior is almost as soft as new with no visible cracks or sign of age. All 1996 through 1999 are really Silver Spur 4's or known also as the "New Spur" if you read about the model changes throughout the years of the Spur. This car retailed very close to $170,000 and was made only a few years before BMW took over and changed many things about the true Rolls Royce. This is truly a Hand Built Rolls Royce and looking closely at the car and driving this car you will never doubt that fact. The carpets and the Lambs Wool carpet overlays are all original and excellent condition. The undercarrage of this car is cleaner than you would expect. I believe it is very rare to have any car that is 16 years old so clean in every way and so Dependable. I have parked this car for 7 weeks, just recently, and the car started like I drove it yesterday. This car is very quiet and smooth to drive. I believe everything is standard on the later Spurs including the 6 CD Changer. The Color was an Special Option and having the car completely painted without having a vinal top on a Spur. This car attracts much more attention than a normal Rolls Royce because of it strong presence do to the rare and outstanding Color Combination and the luster of the Paint.
