Vehicle Detail

1961 Chevy Impala Low rider Must SACRIFICE ! ! ! Up for sale is my beautiful 1961 Chevrolet Impala 4 door no post. This car was something that I worked on for over 7 years, after being hit by a semi that ran a red light. Due to the injuries I sustained from that wreck, I have severe lower lumbar problems, and as of Tuesday, I ruptured a disc in my back. I CAN NO LONGER DRIVE THIS CAR AT ALL It is very depressing, especially considering how long I worked on this car, and how much money I have put into it, just to not have even been able to drive it more than 150 miles! She sits in storage at $140.00 a month (all current, not behind) and she deserves to be out enjoying the life I have put into her. This Impala has been through a lot of modifications which include, but not limited to;Body was taken off the frame, frame wrapped with reinforced steel, and powder coated blue.Front upper and lower control arms reinforced and triple plated chrome.Ford 9" rear axle, reinforced.Sway-bar taken out, and custom lift wish-bone and trailing arms (chrome).14" cylinders in the back.8" cylinders in the front.3 Pro Hopper Pumps (chrome and blue).10 deep cycle marine batteries.6 switches.all new interior (white).alpine DVD/CD/iPod player.3 8" JL Audio W7's.4 Alpine amps. (custom installed in fiber glass in back window).Mids and Highs all custom installed.350 Chevy Corvette motor/350 Automatic Transmission (all chrome). There is probably a lot more that I am missing I am sure. But this list is the majority of it. Like I said, if it weren't for the fact that my back is getting worse and worse as I get older, and meeting with a surgeon on December 2nd, I would not even attempt to sell this vehicle. Do you know what's it's like to have your dream car, and not be able to drive it?! It leaves you depressed and feeling blue!!!! :-( Things still needed worked on:Driver side windows inner gears need replaced (I just went ahead and took the window out for now, it wouldn't go up or down. Still have the window.)Speedometer cable is loose or something, makes noise and goes crazy when driving. AGAIN, this is a sacrifice for me, I have no health insurance, and am more than likely going to be needing lower back surgery here soon. Must get up what I can. Happy bidding, and please treat her right. She's not even been to any car shows yet. NO ONE HAS SEEN THIS CAR OUT ON THE SCENE. It will be as if you built it yourself...On Oct-29-11 at 17:25:17 PDT, seller added the following information: 1961 Chevy Impala Low rider Must SACRIFICE ! ! !
