Vehicle Detail
Offered for sale is an original 80K mile 1941 Buick Special, 2Dr Sedanet, Model 41-46S (this car does not have the Dual Carburetors. System). With a little effort this Buick could make an excellent addition to anyones car collection. This particular model is highly sought after by many enthusiasts. This was the first year that Buick introduced the Sedanet. In 1941, General Motors, Buick Division debuted their new aerodynamic "torpedo" styling. This new styling was available in the Special and Century lines and included a 2-door coupe, called a Sedanette or Sedanet. This car features a rebuilt engine and transmission along with re-upholstered front and rear seats cushions, however it will need new door panels, rugs and headliner. The two tone paint is in good shiney condition, however, there are some minor dings and dents & paint bubbling (see photos). The older re-paint appears to have been of good quality. The rear fender seams have been leaded-in, where the fender welt had once been. However this was done in a very professional way. There is some rusting on the floor boards by each door. The car has a new exhaust system. The Bumpers on the car are from a 1940 Buick are not the correct type. New Fuel Pump, and fresh oil change. Runs and drives GREAT!!!!
