DAILY DRIVER, all 99% original 1972 Super Beetle, Dual Port 1600cc, manufactured in Feb of 1972. The car has recenlty had the entire fuel system gone through and has had new fuel lines, filter and a brand new 34mm Empi carb installed, YOU CAN DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE. The brakes are great, shifts nice! This car is in fantastic original shape. The seats, front and rear are in great shape. The headliner has a few small pencil eraser sized holes but in great shape otherwise. The door panels, dash, handles, knobs are all flawless and original with EVERYTHING WORKING. It has 66k documented original miles, along with maintenance records and receipts from the day it was born including the original owners manual. The mostly original paint is in good shape considering its age from the rear glass forward, at some point in its life, it had the dreaded fire in the engine compartment. It was a short lived fire, all of the damaged parts were replaced, the original motor still in place. I do have the bumpers, they're straight but the chrome is a little rough, the car looks better without them anyway. This car is nearly rust free, the battery tray is clear, heater channels are free of rust, tub is also rust free but there is one hole in the passenger side rocker as pictured below, simple repair. Underneath the bonnet is nearly showroom condition. All of the doors open and close as new. The couple unoriginal parts are the 66 tail lights that are stuck on the rear fenders and the JVC cassette player appearently installed in 90-91 according to the paperwork. The car could use a set of tires in the not too near future, they've got a little dry rotting but are perfectly road worthy.
