1939 Packard V12 Brunn Body # 6 of 10 Built touring cabriolet sold new By Earl C Anthony in Los Angeles california to Adolph Spreckels JR Heir to the Spreckels Sugar producing and Processing Empire his father was one of the richest me in California owned Hotels from Sanfrancisco to San Diego Race horses many other enterprises he was a multimillionaire in the early 1900s Adolph Jr never worked his father died when he was a young child and left millions to the children. Adolph moved to Los Angeles and mingled with the movie stars he married a actress Kay Williams they had 2 Children Kay Williams Spreckles met another man by the name of Clark Gable and Divorced Adolph Spreckels and married Clark Gable. This was the last year Packard made a V 12 Automobile this car has always been on the west coast it is a very good running driving car older restoration that has been driven on several CCCA 1000 mile caravans . The Brunn touring cabriolets were built in 1938 and 1939 10 each year this was the last big V 12 .
