CONDITION Up for sale is my 2006 Blue Graphite automatic TipTronic VW Passat 2.0T, purchased from Jack Daniels Motors in Fair Lawn, NJ. I've been the first and only owner of this vehicle and have kept it spotless as a non-smoker. My car has a clean title and is ready for sale. I even have the original window sticker. It runs smooth and even though it has a 4 cyl engine, the turbo kicks in when needed. I put on 80k highway miles in the 5 years I've owned it. The interior, wheels, tires, and exterior paint is super clean with no major damages or dents. The car has never been to an autobody shop, but from the pictures I posted, you will see a few detailed areas of the car that have minor blemishes. The original VW warranty and powertrain warranty has expired, along with the VW Roadside Assistance. However, the 12 yr Corrosion Warranty is still in effect. Car is being sold As-Is, with no additional warranty. I am pricing my car MUCH under the KBB value due to two reasons. The Air Conditioner recently stopped blowing cold air, so due to time constraints, instead of having my dealership remedy the problem, I am reducing the price of the car. The other reason is that I need the space in the garage for a new car I just purchased. This car must sell before the snowy weather comes around. FEATURES My Passat is a 2.0T edition with all the factory & safety features as well as Package # 1, which includes Power Sunroof, In-Dash 6 CD Changer, and Satellite XM Radio. It also came with 17" Alloy Wheels, instead of the typical 16" wheels and it has an automatic 6 speed TipTronic Transmission. The two original electronic keys will be handed to buyer. HISTORY I've kept all the service receipts from my oil changes (Only Synthetic Oil used), new tire purchases, tune-ups, rear brakes, new headlights and battery. In all 5 years, I've only used BP Premium gasoline. Four brand new Bridgestone Potenza tires purchased at 60k miles. New VW dealer installed battery at 62k miles. Brand new cabin air filter just put in this week. At time of purchase, the new owner should schedule another tune-up with oil change to keep in sync with the 5k mile schedule. SHIPPING & PAYMENT In this auction, the buyer is responsible for all arrangements for picking up the vehicle. As for payment, I require a deposit (as recommeded by Ebay) and then the remainder of the final price in the form of a bank check (which requires 4 business days for clearing) or a bank wire transfer, which clears as soon as the wire has been received. Note: I am also including my VW Monster Mats in this Auction. They will come in handy with the winter season approaching.
