Selling our 1971 Deluxe model Volkswagen Bus, this bus has been well cared for and has had alot of mechanical work done to get it up to snuff, I use to drive it daily to work but with no a/c and 100degree heat in my area not having a/c isn't working for me, we haven't driven it much this summer at all...maybe 1 or 2 vw shows. It's been lowered slightly with dropped front spindles (2.5'') and drop plates on the rear (wagenswest all supplied the parts) it gave the bus a real nice ride and with new BRM's and tires it looks great too. All work listed below has been done in within 2010-2011 -front/rear brake job -bearings -shocks -Sony CD/MP3 player & speakers -Battery -Topend of motor was rebuilt(new pistons and cylinders, and motor was re-sealed) As of 10/2/2011 I have TWENTY miles on it just to break it in. All the gauges work, lights, dome lights, wipers and it stops and drives excellent! Has some rust in the front floors, nothing crazy, see pics. this could be taken care of in a couple of hours, has some speckles of surface rust in the rockers (see pictures on all this!) Bus is sold as-is and this bus is over 30 years old while I have done my best to discribe everything this isn't a 2010 mini van. But I would drive it anywhere!
