1985 Dodge Pickup Prospector 4wd 8ft bed. The engine is a 318 V8. The front axle is a solid split axle. I've owned this truck for 9 years. I replaced all the tie rods about 6 years ago. I've driven about 15,000 miles since I've owned it. I've also had the seal between the transmission and the transfer case replaced about 5 years ago. I have not done any major maintenance other than oil changes. The truck runs well and starts every time, even if I haven't driven it for several months. It's great in the snow, 4wd works well. It currently has 33x12.5 tires with about 30% of their tread left. All lights, gauges, radio (cd) work as well as the wipers. All glass is good. Some of items that are not working include: the AC, the heater works but you cannot direct which vents it comes from. Shift indicator is broken. The seat cover is separated at the front seam and the headliner is partially gone. The vehicle has rust around the rear wheel wells (see picture). Some of the paint is faded or worn. There is a dent in the driver side door but the door is functional (see picture) I drive the truck on the road and it has a valid VA inspection sticker good until June 2012.
