1991 E34 BMW M5 Has 290,000KM, which is about 180k Miles. The last of the hand built M cars. I've owned this M5 for the last 6 years since 220,000km, and it has been in Canada it's entire life. I purchased the car from a gentleman in Vancouver who had it the previous 10 years. It has had one accident of notable value in 1994, but was far before I've owned the vehicle. It is Black, with a Black Leather interior, and the interior is in excellent condition. It has power windows, a power sunroof, power mirrors, power seats (every motion powered), and central locks. (It all works) It has air conditioning, but it no longer blows cold. Our climate did not require me to investigate this. It has 17" Remotec wheels, and will come with the factory E34 M5 5 spoke wheels (Without the covers, misplaced the turbines) The tires are nearing due, and can be changed to the brand of choice by the new owner. The shifter is tight, and has been replaced with a proper short shift kit. I've also replaced the knob with a newer bmw one. The leather seats are in fantastic condition, and the rear has the "breadbin" storage console, so the car seats 4. The suspension has been converted from the SLS system, to bilstein sport struts and OEM springs. Here is a brief summary of items replaced on the car since I've had it: Waterpump, Auxilary Waterpump, Rebuilt Alternator (twice), Spark plug wires, all new cooling hoses, bilstein sport shocks in the front & rear, OEM sport springs, strut tower mounts, control arms/control arm bushings, timing chain tensioner (swapped to the e36 part), light control module, valve cover gasket (during valve adjustment), battery, thermostat, oil pressure sensor, oil pan gasket, and all of the associated regular maintenance parts (filters, gaskets, hoses, etc.) Factory head unit was replaced for a pioneer AVIC-N2 navigation/dvd unit. Aftermarket speakers. Flaws: Hood & Trunk struts need replacing. Tires to be replaced (mentioned) Rear defroster intermittently will not defrost. Headlamp sprayers intermittently will not deactivate when used. (Have to turn off car) A/C does not blow cold (mentioned) Cruise control cable disconnected Few photographed body flaws Leaves a small drip of oil overnight. Goods: Body is in excellent condition for the year and mileage, and to the best of my knowledge is completely rust free. Interior is in fantastic condition, and has not been damaged by the sun, and is not dry and cracked. It drives incredibly well, and pulls very hard. Does not reflect the odometer at all. Colour combination is very desirable, as is the 4 passenger seating configuration. Comes with two sets of wheels, both specifically for E34 M5's. This is a great value for a well kept E34 M5. I did have a compression test done at 284,123KM. Cylinder 1 175 Cylinder 2 190 Cylinder 3 175 Cylinder 4 180 Cylinder 5 170 Cylinder 6 175 They suggested replacing the spark plugs, and that was done then as well. If you would like an inspection, I will gladly have the car taken to where you are comfortable with. We do have a local BMW dealership, as well as a few reputable independent shops.
