Just bought a Honda CR-V and I am selling my 2002 Ford Escort ZX2, 2 Door Sport Coupe. I have owned this car for 6 years and have never had any problems with it at all. I have performed normal repairs and maintenance along the way. I have replaced the battery recently and tires have plenty of life left. The A/C blows cold and the heater warm. The car is almost 10 years old so it will show cosmetic signs of its age. So what you are bidding on is a low mileage, dependable car with a lot of life left in it. The photos show the condition pretty well, not bad overall, just don't want to say that it is in great condition. The car drives extremely well and has plenty of power. The engine is a 2.0 Liter with variable valve timing. (Very Strong, does not burn any oil) The transmission is a 5 speed manual. (Clutch still in great condition) I would not hesitate driving this car across country. The Bad: The left fender was replaced before I bought the car and repainted, over the 6 years that I have owned the car the fender has faded. (See photos) The left door you can also see where they blended the paint has faded as well.On Oct-19-11 at 03:07:59 PDT, seller added the following information: The left driver floor mat gets water on it when it rains hard.
