For sale is my 1982 Mercedes-Benz 240D Diesel sedan. Low mileage at only 112K, I am the third proud owner of this wonderful little diesel car. The original owners wintered in Florida and used the car while there. The second owner bought it from the widow of the original owner and put only 800 miles on it in the four years he owned it. It sat in his dry garage under cover most of the time. Although the original paint was in good condition, it didn't shine quite enough for him so he had it professionally repainted in the original Orient Red. The car starts and runs great, and will cruise all day at 70mph on the highway while getting legendary diesel fuel mileage. Included is the optional dealer-installed block heater should you take it to colder climes. Of course I haven't needed it here in Florida. The interior is as new as a 40 year old car gets, and the headliner and seats are in great condition. Even the original first aid kit is in the back compartment. The only minor flaws are a small scratch on the driver's side rear door, and a tiny crack in the dash to the right of the instrument cluster. Neither would show up in the pictures. Also some of the fabric piping on the driver's door seal has worn away over the years. All lights and accessories are in working order, with the exception of the cassette player and the cruise control. Tires look like new. This is a rock-solid dependable vehicle that you can drive anywhere.
