This auction is for a 2000 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner extended cab, V6 with the TRD off-road package. I have bought a full-size truck, so my wife says I have to get rid of this one. It is two-wheel drive. As of this listing, the truck has 168,223. It will come with a chrome tool box that has two separate doors and open from each side of the truck. The truck has a bed liner and a hitch. Mechanically, this is a solid truck. I would not be afraid to go across the country in it today. I have had the truck for about 3 years now and have had all the regular maintenance performed. The A/C works great. The cd player and radio also work great. When we bought it, it did not have the spare. I purchased a wheel but never put a tire on it. It has gotten 20 - 22 mpg consistently since we bought it. To my knowledge, it does not use much oil. There are cosmetic problems. About 6 weeks ago the driver side exterior door handle quit working. A new one can be purchased here on eBay for about $17, I just don't have the time to put it on. About 4 weeks ago the clear coat on the hood started coming off. I took a picture so you could hopefully see it. However it isn't just coming off the hood. There are small places elsewhere. I noticed one on the driver side front fender, over the driver side door and a spot on the passenger side bed. The next few things were like that when we bought it. As you can see from the pictures the driver side seat and door panel is stained. I have been using a camo seat cover on both seats. The carpet is stained as well. One of the sliding back glass was broken so I've put a piece of plexiglass in it. On the dash, there appears to have been a black rubber sticky pad left by the previous owner. We pulled it up and some of the brown dash paint came off with the sticky pad. I left a cd case on the dash in the picture so that you could estimate the size of it. The front bumper has some dents. The rear bumper is rusted above the hitch. Tires are still in pretty good shape. The tailgate handle broke about a year ago, so I took off the liner covering it and have been using the cables to open it. It needs the interior mechanism replaced. There is a rear mud flap missing. There are several scratches over the truck as well. I think that is everything that is wrong with it. There may be something else, but I honestly haven't noticed. If you are looking for a good looking, good running truck, better go elsewhere. But, if you want a dependable truck that has been used and you don't mind the cosmetics of it, this is the truck for you. I am setting the reserve at $3000. I would love to keep it, but like I said, my wifeus says it has to go. We will drive it to meet the winning bidder up to 200 miles from Tupelo, Ms in any direction.
