Vehicle Detail
Hi, if you are looking for a very clean all original Bronco then here it is, sorry for the long description but I wanted to describe this vehicle 100% and not leave anything out. If I think of anything I'll be sure to add it on here but I'm pretty sure this is all of it, please be sure to check out the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6ucUA3hHLI to see the truck in a video running and driving, sorry for holding the key too long at start up, reved the truck a bit so you can hear the nice exhaust, hard holding the camera, also sorry if you had a hard time hearing my voice as the camera isn't the best, as you can see she starts rite up everytime. At the end of video you can see the truck turning off nice and smoothly as well, idling like an absolute dream. You are bidding on my pride and joy 1985 Ford Bronco 4x4 XLT. Truck has 170k original miles. State of Florida states that it is indeed actual mileage. Very, very low miles for the year. Black with tan interior. Exterior of this truck for being a 85' is very clean and mint as you can see in the pictures. Paint has a beautiful shine to it as you can see in the pictures too. No major scratches, dents or dings. Body is very straight also shown in the pictures below. NO RUST. Frame is absolutely rust free and solid. Body has no visible rust, is as rust free as you can see from the pics. Not even the tailgate has rust like 99.9% of broncos do. A/C does work. Truck is 100% original. I am the third owner, owner before me owning it for over 10 years! Alway's a Florida truck. Bought brand new on March 01, 1985 in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Please check out the vehicle history report attatched to this listing to see how truely amazing this truck is. Automatic, power windows, power locks, cruise control. All power options work. All windows including tailgate window go up and down smoothly with no issues. Transmission shifts nice, tight and smooth. Truck has the 5.8L V8 351 Windsor which runs, drives and idles smooth as well. Has flowmaster dual exhaust which sounds absolutely beautiful and cost me over $500.00. Previous owner that had the truck for over 10 years told me that the original owner which was his brother believe it or not which bought the truck new had the truck ordered without the Bronco XLT emblems that go on each front fender. He ordered the truck just to have the factory Ford emblem in grill and on the tailgate panel. He felt it gave the truck a cleaner look which in my opionion I agree. Comes with the original owners manual truck came with new from the Ford dealership. I took off the spare tire carrier but left all the original brackets not to leave any holes in the body. Took it off because I felt it looks cleaner without it. Truck does come with a spare. Truck has no mechanical issues what so ever. Tires are 33x12.50 15. Front 2 are BF Goodrich which are brand new and cost me over $200.00 a piece. Rear 2 tires have plenty of life still left in them. Complete new brake system. Every single part having to do with the brakes down to the rubber on the break pedal is brand new. Brake job costing me over $700.00. Truck drives down the highway at 70-80 smoothly, nice and straight. Does not pull or vibrate. Truck makes no wierd noises. Interior has no foul odors, has alway's been a non-smoker. Interior is very clean. Dash has no cracks, cover is only on it to portoect it from the sun. Headliner has no rips. Rear seat looks new like no one has ever sat in it. Has a new top of the line JVC AM/FM CD radio with all the features and 4 new Kicker speakers, whole audio system costing me over $400.00. Also, new heavy duty battery which was over $100.00. Truck is equipped with train horns which cost me over $500.00. Truck has all new belts put in. Oil changed every 3,000 miles using only Castrol motor oil and a Ford Motorcraft oil filter. Bronco has K&N air filter. This is a very clean, original and well maintained truck. Very collectible and rare. Very low reserve. Any questions please feel free to ask. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. Very reliable. Starts rite up every morning with no issues and runs like a champ. Does not smoke at all. Has 15x10 wheels which I believe came original on the truck as a factory Ford upgrade. Has the factory and rare quad shock option up front which is part of the rare off road package offered back then which includes skid plates for the transfer case, etc. Has factory posi rear end. Factory locking hubs with manual 4x4 engager. Thank you for reading my description and good luck. New owner will absolutely love this Bronco. Has always been well maintained and taken care of. Always garaged as you can see from the pictures. Please read under payment to make sure highest bidder and winner can go through with the payment instructions so title can be sent out asap after cleared payment using one of the payment methods under the payment tab for the listing, thanks. NO CASH PLEASE. Truck can be driven to the airport for pick up or to another location for a truck to pick it up.On Oct-13-11 at 18:50:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I am going to try and list all the questions and answers to questions from ebay members to ensure other people read the answers. Here is one of them which seemed to not want to post. Question: "PS: any photos of the engine?" Answer: "There are photos of the engine in the ebay listing as well as a link to a video of the truck running and driving and of the whole engine bay conpartment. Thanks again." On Oct-15-11 at 20:25:37 PDT, seller added the following information: "Also Doug, I don't see a need for you to have to trailer it back home as I would'nt hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. But do understand you'd want it trailered maybe to keep miles off of it, etc.. Thanks again." "Title* I ment, not tile. Sorry for the typo. Thanks." On Oct-16-11 at 05:41:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Question: "thanks heaps mate that would be greatly appreciated. are there any wheel spacers on the truck?" Answer: "There are no wheel spacers on the truck. Thanks." UPDATED DESCRIPTION: I drove the truck out of the garage today to notice a few minor cosmetic things. Nothing major which affects the appearence of the truck or how it runs. On the drivers side front fender on the bottom left corner closest to chrome fender trim molding and tire, I noticed the paint starting to bubble at bit. (The size of about a quarter) I believe it's starting to lift up maybe from a small rust spot. As you can see by the pictures it is not visible. Tailgate on the bottom has I believe one spot the size of a penny starting to do the same thing to. IT IS NOT VISIBLE. These are little things not noticable in pictures or takes away from the way truck looks in pictures. It hasn't completely gone through or lifted up the paint completely off for it to be visible but is something I'd fix for it not to get worse as truck looks amazing. I would have to say that is the only thing this truck would need done to it or fixed. Other than that Bronco is as exactly as describedd. Please remember truck is a used 1985 with 170k original miles. Truck is 100% original but does have your normal wear and tear for a truck this year. Even though less than your average Bronco, which you won't find and I've never seen one in these conditions. It has no major dings or dents, does have maybe a scratch or two here or there from just over the years and driving it. Like I said nothing major or nothing that takes away from the appearence of the truck. Just normal things for a car of this year. You won't find another one in the conditions of this one or which looks like this one. I get compliments on it all the time when I do take it out. Everybody looks and compliments on how nice original and clean and beautiful she is. You can clearly see truck is beautiful and very clean and rare from the pictures. Also, please read all payment instructions in description and under the payment tab on the ebay listing to make sure there is no confusion. Thanks so much. I think this is also the only Bronco of this year on ebay as they are rare, especially a black Bronco with the tan top and tan interior. Beautiful combination. Very nice, original, unmolested truck. Thanks and goodluck. On Oct-17-11 at 06:32:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Question: "What airport are you near? Also, what would you consider the next major repairs to be done on the truck (not including engine replacement)?" Answer: "Hey, closest airport to me would be Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. I'd be able to drop the truck off there and have it ready for you when you land. Assuming you'd have recieved the title by then and transfered it so you would be able to drive it home. Next major repairs would be absolutely none honestly. As for engine replacement original motor only has 170K, I've seen these 351 windsors go over 300-350k easily if not more. Especially if well maintained, which it deffenitely has by all 3 owners. First owner was an older man which bought it new in Port Saint Lucie, FL then he sold it to his brother here in Miami, Fl and now me in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, always a Florida truck , Oil has beem changed with Castrol GTX every 3,000 miles a long with a Ford Motorcraft Oil Filter. Only thing I would do is take care of the small spots on the truck where the paint seems to be lifting up due to the common rust spots on these trucks. That would be the only repair not even something major I'd take care of before it goes completely through to maintain the truck looking the way it does. Which would be only 3 small spots like I said above in the red text not visible from even the pictures but still there.Thanks." Truck has a small spot on the passenger side top left corner between roof and piece which seperates door. Paint in that described spot starting to lift up a little as well there. All these rust spots aren't all the way through and not even visible in pictures. I'm just being honest as you can see these are the only little cosmetic things truck would need in the future. These are the common areas for all Bronco's. Truck has no holes etc. Just the cosmetic stuff I listed above which does not affect the appearence of this truck at all. I'm very meticolous about my vehicles and things. On Oct-17-11 at 07:14:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry I ment to write "These 3 small rust spots" not All these rust spots. Don't want you all to think truck is a rust bucket. It's an 85 original always a Florida 3 owner well maintained and taken care of good beautiful mint looking truck. Never seen snow. Frame is solid, body is solid, I'm just being very picky in listing every possible thing I know about this truck as it is sure one of a kind and a very rare collectible. Thanks and goodluck! On Oct-18-11 at 10:12:18 PDT, seller added the following information: Here's another good question: "Am I not able to just come down and pay cash for it once trhe auctions over?" Answer: "Hey, I called but left you a message. Feel free to call me back whenever. What I'm trying to say is that Bronco ends this Thursday afternoon at exactly or around 12. I am out of town. Truck is in my garage. I'd have it parked outside and leave the keys somewhere safe for winner to have no issues picking up from wherever they'd prefer and like I said drive or pick up/trailer home. I don't mind having the vehicle dropped off somewhere for buyer to get. Winning bidder as said in the description and under payment would have to wire transfer the funds to my bank rite after auction end or cashiers check or a USPS united states postal service money order but instant transfer rite after truck ends preferred so I can have the title mailed out to whom ever wins that same day even or that Friday morning first thing in the am so buyer can have it transfered to them and tagged for them to drive or have picked up to go home. All this for the buyer to be able to get in and drive the truck home in a timely manner so they don't have to wait for me to fly back down from my business trip. Thanks. I've had a lot of cash offers during the listing time and payment and description say no cash only reason beng I travel a lot for work and barely spend time at home now anymore that is also the ONLY reason I am selling my truck. Thanks Again Rob."
