Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I'm selling my 1975 Honda CL 360 (“Scrambler”) because I don't have room in my driveway for a motorcycle and a scooter. I’m going to buy a new scooter in the spring and I’d rather not store the bike all winter. I bought the bike on Ebay in 2006, and loved riding it. The bike is in the condition you might expect from a bike that has not been rebuilt or restored in 35 years but I hate to see it go. I’ve provided a few photos to give you some idea of the dings and imperfections. I think it looks and sounds great. It has 10,085 miles on the speedometer although I have no idea if that’s accurate. Specifically, the front fender has a crack as do the two side covers; there’s a small dent in the gas tank on the left side near the seat. The side covers are original. It’s been repainted too, at some point. The front and rear tires are showing some signs of age but will last at least a few years more. I just had a tune up—new plugs, some work on the carburetor, and a new battery—and it’s running very well. It shifts smoothly, and starts up easily with the electric start button (the kick start works just as well). All the lights work well too. The charging system is original and so a little dodgy but if you use a battery tender—I’ll give you mine—you shouldn’t have any problems. I have the original manual and tool kit as well as a sissy bar that I took off but that you might want to use. I use it to run around town but it handles 60 - 65 mph easily. It’s light and very easy to handle and ready to ride. Pick up only, no shipping; it’s got a clear title. I’d like cash only at time of pick up. I’m located in East Central Illinois, about an hour south of Champaign Urbana. It’s sold as is, but you won’t have any regrets. This would be a great daily rider or a winter project or both.On Oct-16-11 at 15:01:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: I just noticed that the seat has developed a small tear-- perhaps a little more than a 1/4 inch. It's easy to fix but I added a picture just to be sure that we are all on the same page.
