Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1993.5 Cadillac Allante (1993 and a half are marked buy the code V4J on the option sticker in the trunk. If you buy a 1993 Allante you need to get the one with the V4J code as they have many upgrades to the earlier models). This is the very rare Montana Blue, only 149 ever made in this color. Has the blue soft top. I have owned 10 Allantes over the years, and they have been my only transportation for the last 5 years. This car is buy far and away the best Allante I have ever owned, and it has been my only driver for the last year and a half. The car is completely dry and rust free. Out side of minor door dings there is no body damage. The paint is very nice except for the hood (see pics). On the hood there is problems with the clear coat fading (see pics), but still very presentable. The hood and the hard top ( the hard top is pearl white) could be repainted. The interior is very nice with only minor wear. No cracks in the dash. the seats are nice, but there is some wear on the bolsters. The carpet is nice ( I have a set of Cadillac floor mats that go with the car, although they are not original to the car). The center power tower is nice, with only minimal wear on the volume button. The LCD read out in OK, but there is some fogging, and not all letters are complete, but you can easily read everything. The soft top is in very good condition, no rips tears, or worn spots, and the the color is bright. The hard top is in excellent condition. It is pearl diamond whit with a black headliner (FYI all 93 hard tops had black headlines). It will need to be painted to match the car. This hard top is a phase one top and has not been converted to fit this car. Conversion kits are sold on ebay and are inexpensive. You can however put the top on the car and drive it home or have it transported. I have done this with phase one tops on phase two cars, (long trips) more than once. The hard top stand you see in the pic is NOT INCLUDED, but I will offer it to the winning bidder. The car runs excellent. The engine is strong and tight, and does not burn or leak any oil, that's right it does not leak oil. This is a very fast car. Also the head gaskets are fine. The transmission shifts smoothly. A/C blows cold and has been converted to new freon. All options on the car work as they should, from the Power top motors (front and back) to the windows and window switches, to the stereo, and power antenna, also the power seats, mirrors, and all gages. The sun visors are nice. There are no error codes. The tiers are Yokohama's, and are in good condition with about 40% tread left. There are no chips or cracks in either the head light or the tail lights, and the windshield as well. I have keep the car serviced and have given her, regular oil changes, flushing the brake fluid, servicing the transmission, and changing the engine coolant (and adding the GM pellets). This car is still very presentable and drivers very well. It still has a lot of life, (in both time and miles) left in her. Car is currently registered and just passed emissions with fling colors. I have a clear and clean Idaho Title in my name. You can fly in and drive home, or have the car transported, your chose. Car is located in Eagle (just out of Boise) Idaho, the zip is 83616. I am about 8 miles north of I-84. TEARMS: CAR SOLD "AS - IS" There is a $500 non refundable deposit due (through paypal) with in 48 hours of end of auction.
