I'm putting up for your consideration a very solid piece of Americana - 1949 Dodge pickup. 6 cylinder engine runs very strong. Transmission is manual 3 on tree. It has a service body, but looks very macho! Registration is up to date. The odometer shows 86,000, but actual mileage is unknown. This was used at a school for many years. Tires are excellent. The glass is good. The rear window needs the rubber to hold in the glass. I have included several pictures so you can see the truck at all angles. The truck is a nice example of days gone by. This would be an easy restoration or if you have a business, you can put signs on doors and use for advertising. It's a real eye catcher, or you can just use as a nostalgic driver. This is a California truck ..... no rust anywhere ..... as solid as the day it rolled off the assembly line. For your info: Hearst Black Book CPI shows in Oct., 2011 edition - Fair - $2800, Good - $6100, Exc. - $13,725. However, I'm listing it at starting price $1000 and the reserve is less than fair value.
