I am auctioning my 1976 Jeep CJ5. I have owned it for the last 12 years. During those 12 years, it has always been garage kept. When my father and I purchased the jeep, it had the fiberglass body, the 304 V8 motor, and 3 speed transmission. Since the time that we purchased the Jeep, we have done the following:Rebuilt the engine (bored .030 over) with 10.5:1 compression ratioRebuilt the transmissionReplaced the frame with a brand new frame from 4WDReplaced the radiatorReplaced all of the steering components (except for the steering column)Replaced the windshield frameInstalled new brake linesInstalled new fuel lineNew wiring harnessNew hedman headersCustom stainless exhaustand more....I can't remember everything that we have done to the Jeep over the years, but I know that we did spend a total of $18,000 restoring it. I know that we will not receive that, but the buy it now price is very fair. The vehicle is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
