What you're bidding on is a beautiful 1966 Convertible Mustang - An American Classic!! The winning bidder will not be disappointed!! There is no RESERVE on this car!!! Here are some details about the Mustang and questions I would ask: How's the Frame and Under-body *****If I planned to keep this Mustang over the next 10,15,30 years i would consider firming up the frame - The new 'blocks' that can be installed aren't too expensive. I want to stress, the car doesn't NEED this!! But long-term, I'd consider. This car would have no problem as a daily driver!! How's the body and rust? *****This is a professional paint job that wasn't cheap. The pearl white with the Blue strips looks stunning!! The original color was Navy Blue. I could've left this original paint, but there was some fading from the sun for the past 45 years. Any imperfections have been perfected. The lines on this car are straight. There are no dents or scratches. The doors and windows are aligned. This car also doesn't have any hidden Bondo on the body. This came out great - people always give me the thumbs up, will come over to see the car, and some that shout 'Nice Car'! The interior? *****The interior is all 100% original. I thought about changing the interior, but everyone said to leave it! It's in good condition - Only thing not original is the CD player and a better speaker. I couldn't resist... The engine? *****This is the 99% original V6 engine that has been in the Mustang since 1966. The Mustang starts right up and the engine is more than trust-worthy. This could be an every-day driver. It's been garaged during the winters - The heaters work well. I have a small cottage in Maine and the car can be reliable for long or short trips. I have no concerns about the engine. Maybe a tune-up? Why am I selling the car? *****I've been fortunate to buy some beautiful cars. After a few years and seasons, I see something else I've always wanted to own and drive. I don't flip cars! In fact, I always lose money...But to have the luxury of owning a 1956 356 Convertible Porsche was great. This was the last classic car I owned before the Mustang. The second reason is I don't get to use the Mustang too often. I spend alot of my time at Boston Childrens Hospital with my 3 year old. The car can be a nice distraction from the hospital. But with my sons health, I'm considering a pool for his therapy and just plain fun!!! Someone should be using this car more than I can. But don't worry, I'll have another one soon!! Other issues to mention? *****I would install a new soft top - They're $225 with the window. The white is simply off color from the Pearl White fresh paint job. The back window on the soft-top also isn't very clear anymore. For the price I would recommend *****I haven't replaced some of the old decals that were taken off while painting the car. I have the new decals (JC Whitney has everything for the car you would ever need) but may want to stick with the old. The antenna also needs to be put back into place. *****Again these look good, but I might slowly start replacing the chrome pieces. It would look great! *****The driver side door open-lock button has come off its track. Another easy fix. *****The weather strips are all brand new, Nothing to do there. There really isn't anything else I can think of. Please feel free to message me and ask lots of questions. I can also talk over the phone at 978-473-9595. I'm brutally honest and have a great track record with ebay. My reviews are a 99.6% with over 700 transactions. I also want to reserve the right to pull this listing at anytime should I have the opportunity should someone stop by to purchase. I've decided to start the bidding at a low $10,900. There is no reserve and someone will be driving this car next week. I always recommend an inspection or for you to personally inspect the car, maybe go for a drive. You can ship the car if needed - No problem... The simple part - I'll require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the auction close. The full balance needs to be paid within 5 days. I think that's normal? I also plan on creating a short video tomorrow before the football games. I'll put a link in this description. I'll just walk around the car, start it up and try to give you the best look possible. This isn't a car I'm afraid to show!!! Best of Luck!! Jason
