No Reserve Auction! I am an auto hobbyist and have recently decided to go part time in my job of 22 years to pursue my passion for automobiles. I search for interesting vehicles that need a bit of work, bring them back to life and resell them to fellow enthusiasts. When I first laid eyes on this 2003 Xterra I knew it was special! Rarely do you see an off road vehicle built like this, especially a Nissan Xterra, this is the way Nissan should have done it in the first place! The previous owner took a rugged looking Xterra and added around $6,000 worth of modifications to an already very capable vehicle to make this the ultimate off road machine! When I bought this Xterra it appeared as though a tree had fallen across the hood and cowl, you can see from the pictures this is purely cosmetic damage, the vehicle does still has a clean title to attest to that fact. As stated, this is a 2003 Nissan Xterra XE with a 5-speed transmission and only 83,000 miles! Afer a bit of web searching I found this Xterra on numerous Xterra forums, there is a wealth of information about it. After doing that look up the price of an ARB locker and Compressor, that alone is around $2,000 installed! The lift totals 5” (3” suspension, 2” body) with the 33” tires this Xterra gets attention wherever it goes, and it will go everywhere! Because of the quality of components this Xterra also has a very nice ride on the road, it tracks straight, steering is tight, the clutch feels good, brakes work well, everything works as it should, no road wander, scary stopping or sloppy steering as you might find on botched together lifts, this one is done right! This Xterra also comes with AC (blows cold!), cruise control, tllt wheel as well as all the other standard options. This is not a perfect vehicle, the exterior still has some small dings and scrapes but the paint is overall in good shape. After a thorough cleaning (seats removed, console removed, etc) the interior also cleaned up quite well, it too is not perfect, there are still a few small stains I could not get out but it has been scrubbed from top to bottom and despite the few small stains it is as clean as any vehicle you will find, it will not disappoint. The average retail for a typical 2003 Xterra is around $7,000-$9,000 but who wants typical, or average when they can have the Ultimate! This is a one of a kind vehicle that will turn heads everywhere you go!
