Vehicle Detail
2002 SATURN SC1 3-DOOR...........is my wife's car and has been in the family since July of 2005. It has between 131k and 132k miles on it. It runs well and I wouldn't hesitate to use it for a long trip, in fact we recently have. There are a number of dings to the paint at the front (we live on gravel roads), as can be seen in the photos. There is a crack at the bottom section of the front bumper, as also can be seen in the photos. (PLEASE NOTE!..(added 10/09/11)...I neglected to address the issue of paint being scraped off on the nose. Some time back, one of those parking lot clowns backed up far enough to scrape across the nose. No other damage was done other than the paint scrape and, naturally, said clown galloped off into the sunset without leaving a note or information.) I could have taken a can of silver paint and touched everything up, as paint hides all sins, but I consider that to be a little deceitful. So, what you see is what you get, no bull. Investing in a nose bra for the hood would bump it up on the looks scale. That's up to you. It is a reasonably priced, still nice looking, and reliable car. PLEASE NOTE!.....If you have a feedback score of less than 25 I ask that you call me (John (708) 363-9116) before you bid. Otherwise, I reserve the right to cancel the bid. I request a Pay Pal deposit of $200.00 within 48 hours of auction's end. If you live 700 miles away.............you have to pick this vehicle up, so don't bid if you're not serious! The bad things; Passenger seat does not fold forward, something wrong with the latch. The aforementioned paint issues. Front license bracket needs to be re-installed. The good things; The vehicle still looks good, for the mileage. It is a reliable ride, and the price is fair. It has the third door and the back seat folds down, so loading it up with groceries is a bit easier. It has newer tires, AC works, radio and CD also works. Thanks for viewing my auction........John
