You are considering bidding on the following item: For Sale: 1978 Volkswagen Transporter Bus I bought the bus in Michigan earlier this year, hoping to restore it. However I have yet to find anytime to give to the bus. It didn't run when I picked it up, it would try to turn over but no luck. I started working on the motor to attempt to get it to start. Listed below are the items that were replaced and done. Overall the bus is in good shape, does have some surface rust which could be easily fixed. Around the front window and up around the gutters would need work soon, nothing that has rusted through. Interior is in great shape, all original, all seats are there, middle bench set has been unbolted and moved around. Headliner is in great shape. Would need minor TLC to get her back up and on the road again. The reason its on the ramp in the pictures was to help me work from underneath. Does have a clear title. These are hard to find vehicles here is your chance to own some history. New oil filter Oil has been changed Drained old gas from tank New fuel filter Started running new fuel lines New spark plugs New spark plug cables New oil strainer New ignition coil A lot more parts will be included also. Mileage reads 78085 -Bus would need towed home not driveable -Interior is in great shape -Motor does turn so it's not locked up -Majority is surface rust, I don't see many area's that have rusted through -Original hub cabs come with it also. -All the parts for the motor are there also, some need put back in place -Title is clear, I have the title in hand -Bus is being sold as is. -All original parts in the interior are in good shape -Seat covering is in good shape also -Headliner is in great shape also -Locks and windows all work Let me know if you have any questions.
