You are bidding on a 1956 ford pick-up. If you have an interest in this truck please read the description very carefully - I hope it will answer all of your questions. This truck is an older restoration - look the pictures over very carefully and you will see exactly what you are bidding on. ENGINE & DRIVELINE -- 302 cu in ford that starts right up everytime - runs perfect - sounds very strong - no smoke and no funny noises - automatic transmission that shifts like it should - the truck sits for weeks and no leaks on the ground - none - The engine compartment has the stainless inner fender panels and the engine has been chromed up - look the pictures over - Disc Brakes on the front and drum on the rear - the truck stops OK however the brakes need to be bled and adjusted - the pedal is a little soft now. This truck has no power steering and it steers like a truck - the banjo steering wheel does not go with the sale of the truck - i have the original steering wheel and will put it back on after the vehicle sells - the reason it is on there now is so my big belly will fit behind the wheel. INTERIOR -- The seat, headliner and door panels are done in a black velour - no rips and no signs of ware - looks like new. The dash is painted purple to match the exterior - the windows are power and they both work very good - the truck has air conditioning however the compressor does not have a belt on it - the windshield is perfect - the side glass on the passenger side is cracked and i have new side glass and vent glass for both sides that go with the truck - you would have to install them EXTERIOR -- The only rust that i can find is in the driver and passenger door - bottom rear of each door - pictures will show what i have found - the rest of the body is rust free - the truck bed is in good shape and so is the tailgate - it has a wood floor - the paint is in poor condition even though the pictures might not show it that way - also the hood has some bondo in it and i am sure it is only covering up dents and holes where the emblems were - the door handles have been removed and they open up with a remote on the key ring - i have the original door handles that will come with the truck - the bed comes with a snap on tonneau cover - the tires and wheels are in good shape - roadworthy In general this restoration took place many years ago and is now in need of a good make over - at the time that it was finished it probably was one of the sharpest trucks around and whoever did it must have spent a fortune on it with all the trick stuff on it - now with a new paint job and much needed power steering installed ( plus little things like wiper blades - tail light bulbs - etc ) you would have a very sharp truck -- i want you to know that if i didn't need the money and i didn't weigh 265 lbs this truck would not be for sale - i don't like being short on cash and i do not fit in the cab very well - NOW that you have read this description you should reread it again and if you then have any questions send me an email - the reason this truck is on ebay is i want to sell it therefore if you are a bidder on this truck feel free to email me and i will be happy to tell you the reserve or even discuss a sale and set up a BUY-IT-NOW -- i have a clear title in hand - good luck to all bidders
