Vehicle Detail

Nice 1969 Dodge Charger restoration project. Exterior details: frame rails k-member, and torsion bar member in great shape. Floor pans in great shape, except for a 6-8 inch area in drivers foot-well (will need a patch). Trunk pan in decent shape, with only a small quarter sized hole (most of these are rotted out). Hood and deck lid in good shape (old hood was drilled for pins, and deck lid had luggage rack rivets, that's why I changed them). Quarters, wheel wells, rockers, doors, rear lower valance, and fenders will need work, as seen in the pics. Interior details: dash, gauges, console, are complete and in good shape. pass side and both rear door panels in great shape. Drivers side door panel in decent shape, however it is black. Front seats will need to be recovered. Drive train: original big-block 727 trans in car and working, 8 and 3/4 rear axle in car and working. You will receive a standard bore non-matching 440 block, a steel crank(which will need a polish) flywheel, timing gears, pictured brackets and pulleys, alternator, starter, a few misc. items in picture, extra tail lights, and some gaskets. If you want, I can bolt in the block for shipping purposes. Options: power steering, power brakes, drivers side remotely operated mirror, and A.C. The only A.C. parts that I have is whatever is under the dash. Before the car got put away in the garage in 2004, I replaced the rear leaf springs and bushings with ones from mopar performance, replaced the back brakes, drums, and cylinders, the front brakes and cylinders, machined the front drums, replaced the steering gear box, master cylinder and booster, and I installed new mopar performance "green" rear outer axle bearings, which are a sealed roller design, that doesn't require adjustment. I will require a non-refundable $500.00 dollar deposit through Paypal within 48 hours of auction end. The balance can be paid with a certified bank check or money order within 7 days of auction end. Once the funds clear, the vehicle can be picked up. I will accept paypal, however you will have to add two percent of the winning bid towards the three percent fee. No OVERSEAS bidders, U.S. only. No 0 FEEDBACK bidders. The car will come with a bill-of-sale only. (NY had no titles for that year anyway, only registrations, which I lost) As always, ask any and all questions prior to bidding. I have described the vehicle to the best of my ability, no refunds or exchanges. Winning bidder is responsible for pick-up, and or any and all shipping arrangements. If you are a serious bidder, and plan on spending at least 6k, and have a serious, important question, then you may contact me: Dennis @518-258-8539, 5-9 p.m. eastern time. On Oct-07-11 at 11:33:31 PDT, seller added the following information: ***I went to DMV, and got a new, transferable, NYS clear title, reg for the car***
