I really love this car and will hate to see it go. It gave me great pleasure to drive it. It handles great, has amazing 9 speaker sound system and the top is new and works. Has 153,000 miles but there is an issue with the odometer. It goes in and out. I will attest that 153k is the correct mileage and nothing has been tampered with. My friend who is a BMW factory mechanic checked the car out extensively when I bought it at 90k and said it was in excellent shape and he said he was surprised it had that many miles on it. The majority of the miles from 90k to 153k have been highway which I have driven. The top works fine, new motors have been installed it just needs a gentle push to help it along its way which can be adjusted. The top is also only 2 years old and still carries a warranty. Two of the BMW logo tabs in the center of the wheels came off a few months ago but they are easy to get from any BMW dealer and are not expensive at all and just stick on. The drivers seat leather is rather cracked, I have a custom fit seat cover that I will include with the car, I included a picture of it on the trunk. The stereo sound system with DVD player was installed 2 years ago as well at Crutchfield where I spent 2500.00 on it. I have all the receipts to pass on and it is still under warranty. It has the hookups for ipod where you can scroll thru your music and watch any video as well. It sounds fantastic! It has a sub-woofer in the trunk that can be easily removed in and out in about 60 seconds and still sounds good without it. I got on average about 27 to 28 miles per gallon. It has a computer system that monitors everything and tells you if washer fluid / oil / coolant is low and so on. It has power locks and seats, alarm system, seat warmers, ect. It is top of the line. Brand new in 1997 this car cost around 50,000. The car drives runs good and there is nothing wrong with it that I know of. There is no warranty but I am confident that you will enjoy this car for many years to come if taken care of. I used synthetic oil changes every 5,000 miles or so which is well before you are supposed to. The more you change the oil the longer the engine will last. BMW makes a very solid car and you will be happy with the quality if you have never owned a BMW before.
