Ford Redesigned the F-250 for the 2008 model year. Also for 2008, Ford offered the Stampede Edition F-250. The Stampede Edition Ford F-250 is a special version Super Duty F-250. The Stampede was available in the crew cab style.
Engine Specs
The Stampede Edition F-250 is powered by the 6.4-Liter Power Stroke V-8 turbo diesel engine. The engine produces 350 horsepower at 3000 rpm. Torque is rated at 6500 foot-pounds at 1600 rpm. The engine is paired with an automatic transmission.
Interior Features
The interior of the Stampede F250 has seating for five passengers. A three-person bench seat in the rear. Two, high-back power bucket seats and a storage console are up front. The seating areas are trimmed in leather. The audio system is an Am/FM reciever with a six-CD changer.
Other Features
Stampede exclusive appearance feature are chrome 20-inch diameter wheels, a billet grill, an off-road lift kit and fender flares. The Stampede edition F-250 has a set of upfitter switches mounted on the instrument panel. The switches allows the owner to add additional aftermarket accessories to the truck's electrical system.

The Stampede F-250 is a conversion model truck, it is equipped with aftermarket or dealer-installed accessories. The closest factory model, by comparison in terms of features, is the F-250 King Rnach edition.
"Stampede" is registered to the Ford dealer association in Oklahoma and Texas. Stampede edition cars and trucks are not a Ford option package and therefore will not be listed in any blue book or used value guide.
