I am selling my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. The truck has a 5.9 L, 360c.i., engine by Jasper, replaced in 7-27-07. The engine has 54,551 mile on it as of today. The entire truck has 234,510 miles. I am the second owner of this truck. It is my primary business vehicle, driven every day. My good friend owned this truck since it was new, I HAVE EVERY SERVICE RECORD AND OIL CHANGE RECORD, TIRE REPLACEMENT RECORD, PARTS REPLACEMENT, RECALLS, MAJOR AND MINOR REPAIR RECORDS FROM WHEN IT WAS NEW UNTIL TODAY. THIS TRUCK HAS HAD THE TRANMISSION REBUILT AT 96,500 MILES, ENGINE WAS REPLACED WITH A JASPER AT 179,959. ONLY 54,551 ON IT. The truck is inspected and registered in PA, everything is current. Everything works on the truck. If something needs to be replaced it was replaced. Most recent repairs were drag links and tie rod ends, left 4x4 universal joint, fuel rails and o-rings, muffler and right ball joint and of course it was aligned after the repairs. It has a brand new battery as well. The truck comes with a bed liner, new tool box and ladder rack. THE WINCH DOES NOT COME W/ THE TRUCK. THE WINCH IS NOT INCLUDED W/ THE SALE OF THE TRUCK. As you can see in the pictures there is no real rust on the truck. The underbody is clean, there is a 1 inch bubble starting on the passenger side wheel well and surface spot on the trim line on the driver door. The area below the trim line has recently been Herculiner coated to keep the truck from rusting, not to hide any rust. I am including a picture of the underside of the truck. WINCH NOT INCLUDED. 4 wheel drive and transmission work great. Ready for winter. Tires are one year old w/ about 3/4 tread. Front brake pads should be replaced in a few months. I AM SELLING THE TRUCK BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE TO BUY A DIESEL. THERE ARE NO ISSUES W/ THE TRUCK, JUST NEED TO SELL IT TO BUY A DIESEL. I have the original window sticker for the truck, Jasper engine warrantee info and every repair record from the birth of the truck, filling a big manila envelope. The truck has plenty of dents, no rust. My friend was a certified Forester and this truck has hauled a lot of wood. ALL MAJOR COMPONENTS ON THIS TRUCK HAVE BEEN MAINTAINED VERY WELL OR REPLACED, AND I have the records to prove it. This is a truck that has to be depended on and will provide someone with a very good working vehicle. Don't let the overall mileage worry you. WINCH IS NOT INCLUDED.
