Vehicle Detail
Used 1999 Honda Goldwing SE with approximately 84,400 miles. I still ride it on nice days. Tires are Dunlop Elite 3 with excellent tread. Front tire is new this year. Timing belts replaced at 68,000 miles. Major service done this year includes: replaced all fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid, front fork oil, and rear drive fluid. replaced air filter, sub air filter, cruise filter, fuel filter. This past weekend, October 1, 2011 I just replaced the spark plugs and changed the engine oil and oil filter, and replaced the air filter. The alternator was replaced in 2005. Bike starts, runs, and rides flawlessly. I purchased the bike used with 70,431 miles on it. Appearance is NOT in new condition. It has the normal paint chips, rub marks, scratches, etc. for a bike that is 12 years old. Now, for the BAD NEWS. The bike has been down. It did not skid down the road or anything like that. But, the left underside of the front fairing underneath the left mirror is cracked and has a rub mark, where the paint is rubbed off. However, you cannot see this damage unless you bend down, and look underneath the left mirror. You can see the damage in two of the photos. There is also a one inch long hairline crack that is visible underneath the left turn signal. It wouldn't show up in a photo, but you can see this crack standing up. Bike has all the Goldwing SE features including reverse, AM?/FM/cassette stereo; CB radio; adjustable passenger footboard height; rear air shock; adjustable windshield height; driver footwarmers; rear speakers with driver fader control; two tone paint; lighted rear spoiler; cornering lights. Everything works, except I don't know if the intercom works, since I don't have the helmet speaker/headphones set. Extras include the OEM tool kit, owners manual, and OEM Honda service manual; trickle battery charger; ultraguard full cover; auxiliary air hose; fairing wind deflectors, tour trunk lift handle; chrome passenger kick plates and saddlebag rails; chrome driver kick plates mounted on side covers; fairing wind wings; Hartco president saddle seat with driver's backrest; passenger armrests and cup holder; trunk and saddlebag floor mats; chrome front fender extension; power outlet mounted inside trunk; trunk dividers; and saddlebag door nets. Buyer is responsible for pick up, however seller is willing to ride the bike 4 hours or so, weather permitting, to assist the buyer with delivery. Winning bidder is required to pay $1,000 non refundable paypal deposit within 24 hours of end of auction. Balance is due within 7 days of end of auction, with official bank check. Buyer must provide seller with enough information for seller to verify the authenticity of official bank check before transaction is completed; including the telephone number of the banking office where official bank check was purchased. I am 65 years old, and am selling the bike to pay off some of my debt.
