This is a 1991 300zx that needs some work. It was running very very strong, tranny shifted smoothly engine sounded and ran great. The car has a Jim Wolf aftermarket air intake system with a conical air filter ($300 upgrade). It has developed a very rough idle and the car wants to stall constantly. It is driveable as long as you keep the rpm's up and prevent it from stalling at stop lights. It seems to run better once the engine is warm. However it is running rough. A few months ago the speedometer and odometer stopped working. I've searched on the internet and found the idle and rough running issues might be; pcv vales, throttle position sensor, throttle body cleaning, spark plug issues, injectors, etc. I've heard the speedo could be the speed sensor controller or the gauges themselves. I do not have the time, money or skills to repair these issues so I am selling as is. These issues should be minor and repairable and I can say with confidence that as little as six months ago this car was running like a champ with no major issues. With that said it is a high mileage vehicle and buyer accepts this car as a project car, the price reflects that. I've put maybe 500 or 600 miles on the car (honestly) since the gauges stopped working. I have not driven much in the last few months due to the rough idle and stalling. Speedo reads 143k but I've listed it as 145k to reflect the gauges that stopped working. The car also will need a new battery. There are some rust spots at the base of the rear window., the drivers seat bolster has a rip and hole in it from getting in and out. The steering wheel and shifter knob are worn. Small hole in door sill on passenger side. The dash is slightly curling up near the defrost vents. The rear tint needs replacing. The t-tops have a very slight leak only in a very hard rain. Rear hatch seems to be a different shade of white, so possibly an accident/issue prior to me getting the car. Rest of the body lines are very straight, doors, hood everything closes nice and tight with straight lines. There are various signs of wear normal for a 1991 car. A/C blows cold, car has a cd player stereo with remote six cd unit in back that works. Nice Enke rims, tires have decent tread and some life left in them. I have described this car to the best of my ability. It really was running very well but these issues have kept me from using it so it is time to allow someone else with more knowledge and experience enjoy it. The power door locks were working intermittently so I stopped using them. The key locks are also finicky and need to be addressed.
